WIT™ Certified Training
Course and Certification Package:
This comprehensive package provides all required training to become a certified Workplace Impairment Test (WIT™) Tester.
STEP 1: Online Course
The first component of the WIT™ certification is a self-paced online course consisting of 8 modules.
The course begins with an introduction outlining the purpose of the WIT™ and why impairment testing is both relevant and critical in workplace settings. Each subsequent module focuses on one of the individual tests that make up the WIT™, including:

A clear explanation of the test

A short video demonstrating proper test administration

A quiz at the end of each module to confirm understanding
The online course takes approximately 4–6 hours to complete. Modules can be saved individually, allowing you to complete the course at your own pace.
Successful completion of the Online Course is required before attending the in-person seminar.
STEP 2: In-Person Testing Seminar
After completing the Online Course, participants attend a one-day, in-person training seminar.
During the seminar, you will:

Practice administering the WIT™ on other participants and live subjects

Receive hands-on instruction and real-time feedback from experienced instructors
To support effective learning, the instructor-to-attendee ratio is intentionally kept low, allowing for individualized guidance and coaching.
Certification is issued upon successful completion of the in-person seminar.
HOW IT WORKS:
Complete the Online Course: The Online Course must be completed prior to attending the in-person seminar to ensure you arrive with a solid understanding of the WIT™ tests and procedures.
Register: After purchasing the online course, you will be sent an email to register for a scheduled in-person seminar by selecting your preferred date and location.
Attend the Seminar: Participate in the one-day, in-person training seminar and demonstrate proper administration of the WIT™.
Receive Certification: Your WIT™ Tester certification will be issued upon completion of the seminar.
Certification Renewal: WIT™ certification is valid for two years.
To renew your certification, you must complete an online recertification course. Renewal reminders will be sent to the email address on file, at which time you can register for the recertification course online.

The Workplace Impairment Test (WIT) provides a standardized approach to testing for impairment in the workplace based on the tests used by Drug Recognition Experts (DREs).
We use divided attention psychophysical tests to determine, in real time, if someone is impaired.
